Kari, thanks so much for the information. Congratulations on your journey and your brewing. I will read that article. So far I haven’t had any issues but I am definitely new to brewing and the process. I’v been doing a lot of Youtube video research and it’s awesome to see all the different ways people brew. Wanted to encourage you to continue brewing Kombucha, but also caution you about some things you may be doing that can hinder your SCOBY. Eg. ACV is NOT recommended to be used with Kombucha because of vinegar eels. Use only white vinegar. Here’s a great article that discusses this, as well as other things you may find helpful. I will definitely be posting more Kombucha Recipes as I develop them. Any flavor in particular you’d want a recipe for?
I am not sure where the drink dispenser came from because it was gifted to me by a friend! I have seen ones just like this at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target though.
