Tis the Season to eat sweets? \u00a0If you are anything like me, your days are filled with obstacles of chocolate, cookies, brownies, candy and Christmas baked goods. When I was a teacher, the lounge was totally off limits for me.<\/p>\n

I make my own baked goods that I can take with me in case I feel the creeping of a sweet tooth.<\/p>\n

Kimberly’s Easy Bark Recipe<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Almonds, hazelnuts and\u00a0Macadamia\u00a0Nuts (you can combine or make\u00a0separate\u00a0batches of each type of nut. I’ve done many different versions.)<\/li>\n
• Dark Chocolate Chips (Enjoy life brand)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  1. Chop nuts in food processor.<\/li>\n
  2. Place nuts on a piece of Parchment paper. (I use a silpat<\/a>-best investment ever!)<\/li>\n
  3. Melt chocolate chips<\/li>\n
  4. Pour melted chocolate over the nuts and quickly mix them with a rubber spatula.<\/li>\n
  5. Spread the bark out on the paper and allow it to cool and dry for 6-8 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
