3 Ingredient Kombucha Jello

3 Ingredient Kombucha Jello

 

Kombucha Jello

Blast from the past Jello treat! 

Course Dessert
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 3 hours
Total Time 3 hours 10 minutes
Servings 6 People

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Vital Proteins Gelatin (or any clean gelatin)
  • 1 Cup Cold kombucha Flavor of choice

Instructions

  1. Pour Water into a saucepan and bring to a rapid boil.
  2. Stir vigorously until gelatin is dissolved in the hot water

  3. Add Cold Kombucha 

  4. Pour into molds or a dish for cookie cutting. 

  5. Place gently in the refrigerator for 3+ hours


  6. Remove, cut and serve these jiggly wiggle treats to your crew

Not wanting kombucha Jello? Use juice instead!

I remember when I was little my mom would make “Fancy dinners”. We’d often find some sort of layered dessert in the fridge for later. Hers were often pudding cups or jello treats, but we loved them and I always thought they were so cool.

Warm Pumpkin spice bars are one of my favorite Autumn treats to whip up for my family. We had our favorite pumpkin recipes from Paleo Magazine. This year, I have been focusing on vegan recipes because I have so many friends who avoid dairy and eggs. These are my Paleo Magazine inspired Vegan Pumpkin Crumb Bars.

Vegan Pumpkin Crumb Bars

Warm Pumpkin bars for your Autumn celebrations

Course Dessert
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings 12 Bars

Ingredients

Bar Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 C. Cashew Nut Butter Or Nut butter of choice
  • 1 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice I use Primal Palate pumpkin OR Apple Pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Flax Meal
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 1 C. Almond Flour
  • 1/3 C. Maple Syrup

Crumb Topping

  • 1/4 C. Pecans Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice I use Primal Palate pumpkin OR Apple Pie spice

Instructions

Bar Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine flax meal and 2 Tbsp. Water and set aside

  3. In a bowl, add all the bar ingredients and mix well

  4. Add flax meal to the batter bowl and mix well

  5. Pour batter into a greased 8x8 baking dish

  6. Combine the crumb ingredients in a bowl


  7. Sprinkle crumbs over the batter

  8. Place bars in the oven and bake for 25 minutes

Recipe Notes

Not looking for a vegan option? Omit the Flax meal and the almond flour and just add 2 eggs!

Spicy Fall Pumpkin Bites are just what the season ordered! 

Course Snack
Servings 9 Bites

Ingredients

  • 6 Dates
  • 1 tsp. Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 tsp. Pumpkin Spice
  • 2 tsp. Pepitas Ground

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients ( minus 1 tsp. Pepitas) in a food processer 

  2. Place mixture on parchment paper and stick in the fridge for 30-40 minutes

  3. Ground the last tsp. of Pepitas 

  4. Remove batter from fridge and roll them into bite sized balls

  5. Roll balls in Pepitas and serve!
