Awesome lesson! How lucky those kids are to have you as a teacher!
Thanks Jody! These kids are great and today they all brought a fruit or veggie for snack- so cool to see the difference.
Awesome! So glad some kids are getting the message. But now I’m wondering…how many complaints from parents are you going to get? 😉 Argh.
HAHA good question! So far no one has mentioned it. Tonight is back to school night and I am giving parents an approved snack list so we will see!
I wish my kids had a teacher like you. I try and open their eyes at home but to have someone reinforce healthy choices at school is wonderful.
So sweet! Thanks, I hope I can make an impact in the lives of these kiddos. Since this lesson they have al brought in wonderful snacks and at conferences a lot of their parents have told me the kids are now reading labels and say mrs. Brown says this isn’t healthy! Mission accomplished.
