They are delicious, hope you enjoy the recipe. The Chopped nuts act as an “Oat” consistency. Being Paleo, we don’t eat oats so these are a mock Baked Oatmeal using ingredients that are Paleo friendly!

It is always tough working with Almond flour and nuts. I would say the quickest solution is to increase baking time. Everyones oven cooks so differently. Mine is a brand new oven and I feel like it cooks faster than my ovens in the past. If it seems to look burnt on the top, I would cover it in Tin foil to keep it from getting too browned. Baked oatmeal will be a little softer than say a muffin or a baked bar- just because it is supposed to have an oatmeal texture.
As for the
Be sure to flatten your dough as much as possible and again, you could increase bake time and then let the bottom layer cool completely. BE sure the dough is spread evenly on the pan as well.
Hope this helps!

I have a question on how to make mine dryer? I find the taste is amazing but it is a little wet. Any suggestion on how to firm it up? I have the same problem with the strawberry bars. Thanks!
